Could someone check the schematic and look especially
at the way the pilot bulb is wired in . Also would like to know what # bulb . As soon as I plug in a new bulb = FLASH ! Put new electrolytics in , and replaced most other caps , ( used ) . Tubes all check out fine .

Check continuity of your 35Z5GT filament, between pin #2 and #7. This tube has a lamp tap on pin #3. Some tube testers only apply power between the tap and one filament pin. The other is most likely open.
