I know many of you have been in the radio/TV repair business for a LONG time. Do any of you have a nice working Spectrum Analyzer that you are willing to sell CHEAP? I am looking for an older unit like an HP 141T with a 110 MHz plug in to get some reasonably calibrated readings on my bench.
If no one has one, does anyone know where I can find one reasonably priced?
Thanks
Lou

Also, if anyone else has any ideas, like are they selling one CHEAP please let me know. An old HP 141T analyzer would be GREAT.
Thanks

:Sir Lou. . . . .
:
:
:I have heared of one of them thar "140" mainframe series of Hoolet Plastered Spectr-a-sum-a-cizers, that used the HP855X series of plug ins . . . . which would be using the HP8553 for covering up to your your mentioned lower 100 meg frequency spread.
:
:
:I used one of them at their origin in the very late 60's into the '70's in doing RF research and "plumbing" work.
:
:
:I never worried about buying one, as at NASA, I was able to sign a hand receipt for over the weekend use of one, or other pieces of electronics instrumentation exotica.
:
:
:I don't know what give away on one is . . . . as being considered by you , but I have always fixed my own non working purchases and a 'hunna bux is a big time purchase to me . . . . if being non working.
:
:
:Or, up to possibly 500 for a quasi operational one .
:
:
:E bay seems to be the premium location site . . . . and I even see a HP140 mainframe available now, for ~$40, CONSIDERING that a companion 8553 plug in shows up later in time and that the CRT on that display unit has not received "48" hr a day production line usage.
