I just purchased this radio for $180. It is in a beautiful walnut cabinet with a walnut speaker cabinet and a desk looking cabinet that it sits on. All three pieces have stickers stating Brunswick. Everything is there; knobs, good speaker and all tubes. The only thing is the tuner is stuck. Can it be freed with wd 40? It is not rusted and looks very good. Any Comments. Thanks for your help.

Would use penetrating oil other than WD-40. The WD-40 can gum up when it dries. PB blaster or liquid wrench would be a better choice.

Perhaps heat applied to the shaft area might also be of benefit. I have had radios where old grease has dried out around the bearings and become frozen. Heat applied with a heat gun or the like may do the trick in this case.
