Help.
Thanks
Ron Miller
This would leave the unit without the phono option while retaining the radio and TV function.
If intent using the phono, the cartridge will likely need rebuilding, need to verify the phono switch contacts are good, and follow the schematic to get those blue and green soldered back. Not as hard as it looks, just follow the wiring diagram.

Thank Richard app your help;
:
When I got the unit the radio was inop, I was foolin around with the tv radio switch and found at a certain spot the radio would come on. I tried taking the switch apart and it flew apart losing the inside tumblers. At this point I put a terminal of 6 points outside the unit and ran the six wires to it, if I hook the no.2 terminal to the no. 3 terminal the radio will operate.
I then started to rewire the cable to the phono and discovered the two wires [ green and blue ] had been cut inside the chassis up close to the case, no indication of where they went or [ hooked up ]
My brain worked much better 30 years ago and I don
t want to burn up the unit, it spent 72 years inside a dry heated house and doesn't look ayear old.
Thank You
