I'm a 19 year old and I just bought a old zenith radio/phonogragh player. unfortunatly, I have no idea how to turn it on. i found the chassis number: 1005 and my dad thinks its a 10s492. does anyone have a electrical schematic or copy of the instructions manual scanned? where do I get replacement needles???

This chassis is used in several Zenith model sets. The on-off switch is in the middle of the tuning knob. Don’t expect it to work, it’s going to need electronic restoration and mechanical work on the phonograph.

what do you mean it's in the middle of the tuning knob? do you pull it out, push it in?

Turn middle knob to right. That's on, it's also the volume control.
