Your radio would have had a speaker with field coil acting as choke, L1. It should measure around 1200 ohms.
Someone may have replaced the speaker and added a choke for L1. An autotransformer made as Vertical Output has three wires and would work. I've used these in the past and expect others have also? Can you see where it arcs?

:My filter choke in this Airline Model 62-144 is going snap, snap and I want to replace it but why does it have three leads coming out of it instead of two?
:
That's an Audio Output Transformer. Pin #2 of a 42 is plate.
One secobdary wire is probably connected to chassis and not noticed.

::The schematic does not show a 3ed wire. However your radio may not be exactly as shown. It could have a hum bucking coil where one of the wires is connected to the audio output transformer. Trace the wires in the radio.

:One wire from the choke goes to the + ends of the filters. The wire next to it on L1 goes to pin 2 0f the 42 tube and the the other side of L1 goes to the speaker socoket and next to this wire on L1 a lead comes out and is tied to ground (the case of L1).
