I recently completed a BOL restoration including replacement of the photocell to get it playing correctly. I also have a spare changer with BOL and am going to restore that pickup to work correctly. If I wanted to use that changer in another radio/phono console, assuming I connect the tone arm to the pre-amp that goes with it, is that possible? I was going to try a hookup but thought it might short out the amplifier on the radio if I did not get your opinion on this. I know that I had a previous crystal set up on my 41-608 and it worked fine, now this is the reverse in another amp.

I restored a BOL a few years ago, and had West Tech Services restore the BOL cartridge/mirror. You might want to contact Gib at West Tech. and see if he can help you figure it out. He's been in the business many years.
