Hosting site

I would like to put some pictures on here also but not know what in the sam hale a "hosting site" is ! ! ! Could pic be put in documents from camera card and done that way? ? ? ?

Jim,

A hosting site is a website that offers free storage space for you to put your photos on. Once there, each photo is assigned a specific file name. If you refer to this filename on another site…..such as a posting on Nostalgia Air, the image is inserted into your post for all forum members to view.

A popular hosting site is “Photobucket”…..it can be found at :

To do this you must get your images on your camera card saved into a folder on your computer. Then, when you go back to the hosting site you can “browse” for your selected images in that particular folder and they will be uploaded to that site's storage area. From there you can follow the instructions mentioned in this post:

Tnx Dennis. I got Photobucket Account today but there is lots and lots more I got to learn-----like how to browse to get the pic from your documents
