Posting Picture Test
11/13/2011 9:44:05 AMJohnny
Saw someone else asking what had to be done to post a pic here. Been explained to me a dozen times but I'm mentally challenged. I'll try again. This is a pic of a 1929 Bremer Tully model 81 I'm working on. Complete resto.

Nice Job! (both on the picture post and the restoration)

:Well thank you Richard. As you can imagine it was quite a mess when I got it. But every tube in it tested like NOS. Power supply was fried along with one of the audio transformers. I bought a ballast tube just to keep the top side looking original (original wasn't there) but it won't be used. It was there because the original power tranny wanted 77Vac instead of 120Vac on the primary. Of course the new tranny is 120Vac on the primary. Everything's replaced and now I'm just finishing up the wiring underneath the power/audio section. Restuffed the main cap can along with the big can which is the power tranny and restuffed the new audio tranny into it's can. The paint job was originally a wrinkle finish brown but all I could find was this textured brown and it turned out looking really nice.

:Sorry Mike, gone for a while. It's made by Rustoleum and comes in a few different colors. I bought it at Ace for $7.99 then found it at Lowes for $5.88.
