Hammarlund Alignment

I've been aligning an SP-210LX. Everything was OK until aligning the high (10-20 mhz) band. Using a signal generator and WWV (just to make sure), 10 mhz lines up with 10 on the dial, 20mhz lines up with 20 on the dial. 15 mhz however, comes in at 15.3 on the dial. I have replaced all the caps except for 3 molded mica ones (2 rf grid coupling and 1st det. signal grid coupling) as they tested fine, no leaks, shorts, etc. Any hints? Is this normal?

Hi,
Have you tried setting the oscillator (inductance) at 15 Mhz, then trimming at 10 Mhz, then trimming at 20 Mhz (both caps)? The molded mica caps rarely fail or shift much in value. It may also be a quirk of the oscillator tube.
