identifying capacitor

Hi, I found a broken leg on what looks like a Metalized poliester cap so I cant plug the cap checker to know the values and the color code is something I never saw before, the square body is totally red, now from upside down it bears a yellow stripe next a white stripe and the bottom red.

Sir Milton . . . . .

Since I'm having no other en situ object as additional referencing for determining its physical size via spatial perspective.

But I'm reading it as being a two . . .two . .. plus 4 trailing zeroes . . . or how you says .22 ufd.

Possibly from foreign equipment . . . possibly solidamafied states . . . and a lower voltage rating, if its as physically and diminuitively small as I currently percieve it.

The broken lead . . or its short length:

You should be able to take one clipped test lead and press up against the foil/solder cluster for connection while using your cap tester . . . since we are not dealing in a uufds range here.

Once while working at a restaurant, I told them I thought they should make straws with the wrapper on the inside of the straw since that's the part you don't want to get dirty.

:Thanks Edd, I attached a photo of it, I see it buy I ignore if anyone can see it, I hope yes, anyway one leg or lead falled apart from the body of the cap, I tried to solder it again to see if I were able to get some reading from the cap tester but I dont trust the results, This cap comes on a U.S military radio solid state 12V

Sir Milton . . . . .

With your further follow up . . . . . agreed then . . . . put in a .22 ufd @ 25 or 50 WVDC in either another poly or a disc ceramic would also do fine.

I DO run into my share of monolithic ceramic block units being used in either mil or NASA gear . . . . . a . . .la . .:

One time I went to a drive-in in a taxi cab. That movie cost me $95 !
