I am trying to repair the dial tension spring on my Emerson radio. I can't figure out how the tension spring is attached to the copper tape. Does any-body know were I can find a diagram.

Hi, I looked a the schematic and it looks like it is driven by a belt that cost 10 cents back in the day. I've used orings in place of belts on a couple sets. You might have to let your creative juices go to work on this one, I doubt that you will find anything on how it hooks up unless somebody has had one and can tell you. Good Luck, George T
