That model (Radiola 46, AR-596) is not listed in my two value guides, Slusser and Stein. There are photos and a description in "Radiola, the Golden Age of RCA." It came out 1929 and is a 5-tube, AC, TRF set in a long-legged console cabinet.

If it doesn't work, there is a risk that the transformer is shot. For sure, the filter caps, encased in tar, will need to be replaced, etc. Also, the voltage-divider resistors in the powerpack will undoubtedly have to be replaced. Are the tubes there and all the knobs? Is the speaker cone OK?

Here is the schematic: http://www.nostalgiaair.org/PagesByModel/332/M0040332.pdf Pretty typical circuit.

The value of consoles tends to be limited by the room they take up and the difficulty in shipping. So, the market tends to be local. I'd offer $50 and after you get it working, it might bring $150. It could be a nice display set in a living room, if you have the room.
