deflection yoke on RCA kcs 102 chassis

I've got an old RCA 14" b/w with a kcs 102 chassis. set works fine after recapping, but the rear housing on the deflection yoke, which has the centering rings, and CRT clamp has deteriorated from heat from CRT and age. Needless to say, I cannot propperly center the pix. or clamp down the yoke. Any ideas on how to fix this situation?

Man it's been a long time but if I recall the housings were just cardboard, which you can replace,
and I also wonder if there was an ion trap on this tube. There is a forum on antique tv's here
