turn table not working

i have a rca 612v3 - how do you remove the turn table it seems to be slipping would like to check out wheel or belt drive

There may be a snap ring holding the platter to the spindle. The drive would be underneath the platter.

no snap ring even took a look from the inside underneath im wondering if thier screws underneath the rubber pad the records sit on

walter does your turntable spin freely like with your finger when player is off ?

This model has a set screw underneith the motorboardholding the spindle. The turntable and spindle shaft come out as one unit. be careful and don't lose the ball bearing race. Most of these RCA changers have a large rubber tire under the turntable with one small idlers. Follow the spindle on the underside and you should see the set screw. Don't try prying the mat as you will ruin it.
