I have never been able to find a schematic for my Lafayette stereo tube amp model 224. It uses 6GW8's in class AB output. Anyone know?

Sir Chuck. . . . .

Hmmmm . . . . what do we have waaaaay down here . . . .Mmmmmm . . . why I do think that it is maybe a '62-'63 vintage Lafayette ampli-fryer with its hot 'lil toobies.

Thanks much, Edd. I have been looking all over for this. This little amp has massive output xfmrs and with little power it sounds unbelievable. I picked it up over 6 years ago off of e-bay for $108, that will never happen again. I have had no problem with it, just want the schematic in case. There is a 224 on e-bay right now for "buy it now" for $499.

Just in case you're interested, a very similar arrangement was used for the reverb sections of Hammond Organs in the late 50's and early 60's. I have a pair of these with Holland finals, and they really rock. Not blow down barns, but rattle dentures do.
