Magic eye

Hi everyone,
I need to replace an EM34 magic eye and found this tube is expensive. Is there a cheaper replacement? Like $20?
I replaced magic eye tubes before but this will be my first time working on its circuitry and shall need more help should a replacement tube with a different number be available.
I also have in my tube collection the following: EM4, 1629, 6AF6G.

Regards

Yen

Hi Yen,
Are both shadows being used on this tube? If only one is used a 6E5 ought to work.
An EM4 looks like the same tube with a different base. The electrical specs look very similar. I would start there.
