Rider 9-45, how would I rewire this for a replacement 1H6 tube? Want to convert from battery to electric.

Bob,

Why don't you just construct a power supply for it to provide 6 volts at around .3 amp and 120 to 125 volts DC. You can disconnect the 6 volt input to the vibrator and disconnect the B+ lead from the HV transformer. Then connect your homemade power supply.

Clifton; The 6T7 has a 6.3 v fil, other tubes run on 2v each so my idea was to replace 6T7.

Bob,

The other tubes filaments are in series and add up to 6 volts or so. They are across the 6 volt input as is the 6T7. The total filament current is around .27 amp or 270 milliamps. Building a power supply for it and disconnecting the vibrator power supply would not modify the radio as should you decide to get rid of the radio sometime later, you could hook the original power supply back up and it would be back as originally manufactured.
