Hello all,
I am going to start to work on a Philco model 38, code 121, type 60. Here at resources there are alot of model 38's with another reference number (38-8) for example. With no further data on the radio tag how do i find out which schematic to use?
Thank you,
Mitch

Mitch,
The Philco model 38 was made in model years 1934,35 & 36. The 38-1 etc, models were 1938 models. Therefore, go to the end of the Philco list just after the 38-690 and there is the model 38 & 38A. You can also find a wealth of information on early Philcos on Ron Rameriz's philcoradio.com website.

Mitch,
Philco made many different types of model 38. The above 38 & 38A are battery operated sets and they may not be the type of model 38 you have. You can view pictures of the many different model 38's that Philco produced by going to philcoradio.com and viewing the gallery of pictures starting at July 1933 for the model 38. John
