MW Airline Radio #62-368 8 tube all-wave high-fidelity radio
10/22/2001 8:29:16 AMChuck Churchill
To anybody who can help. I recently renovated an old 1834 farmhouse in Raligh, N.C. After completion
my father (who lives in NY) asked me if I wanted this radio. I remember seeing it when I was a kid in the basement
but forgot all about it. It apparently still works (has electric to it and the radio dial lights up! :-)

I am looking to a dealer who can repair it in the NC area (and perhaps the schematic).

The dial has a series of pre-set radio station buttons - Pil, Orlando, Cleveland, etc.

Appears to be in great shape. Has all the knobs. But I do not think the Band selector works correctly.

Any suggestions on repair shops?

Thanks,

Chuck

Hi Chuck,

The schematic for the Airline #62-368 is available here on Nostalgia Air. Look under "Schematics" followed by "Rider's by Original Index". Then look under "Montgomery Ward" and select the model number for downloading.

Perhaps someone else can suggest a repair shop specializing in antique electronics. Most repair shops only work on modern equipment.

Mark
