Mitch,
Is there a chassis number on the radio?

Looks like the chassis # is D-4682, tube lineup is 12sa7, 12sk7, 12sq7, 35z5, 50l6.
It was lisenced by RCA.

Where i really need help is in the antenna circuirty, the rear of the radio panel has crumbled into pieces. I have a hand full of antenna wire that has opens in it and loose wires from the radio. I can rebuild the back but need some info on how to rewire and connect the antenna.

Thanks
Mitch

Thanks Carl T,

This schematic will work just great for the antenna and some checking on tube voltages. With a makeshift antenna i was able to get a few stations.

The dial lamp is a #45 and is burned out, I have some #47's, can I use a #47 with no harm to the filaments?

Thanks

Mitc

#45 is only a 3 volt bulb. That's why it's burnt out.
A #47 or #44 is what it should of had anyway.

Hi

Since a #45 bulb burnt out check continuity of 35Z5 filament between pin #2 and #7. The bulb will be wired across a section of this filament.

Even though a #45 bulb is 3 volts it requires a current of .5 amps. This circuit can only supply enough current for a #47 bulb, .15 amps, or similar. The #45 would act like a fuse rather than bulb.
