I have a Motorola 55x15 (55x12A chassis)that I was running through the alignment procedure on. I got the IFT's dialed in at 455KHz, then I switched to 1620KHz and "set the oscillator to dial scale". At that point I disconnect the equipment and switched to the radiation loop. After reconnecting the antenna and turning on the radio, I was greeted with nothing but a very faint hum (at full volume), regardless of where I set the tuner. At this point I started over. The IFT's still were peaked at 455KHz, but now at 1620 there is no output at the speaker. I'm hoping this is something simple like a vacuum tube going bad (perhaps from being jostled while hot?), but I'm fearing it may be something more severe. Any advice?

I sorted it out, turns out I nicked the inductor wire when I was removing an alligator clip. A little solder and everything's fine.
