Philco C-4608E Code 122 Car Radio (aka. Mopar 802 version 2)

Hello All,
I'm working on a Philco C-4608E Code 122 (aka. Mopar 802 version 2). I know it's virtually the same as the code 121 except for a few modifications and tube locations. All is fine with that. The schematic on the inside of one of the covers is crumbling and I'd like to replace it. Does anyone have a copy of that schematic? The correct schematic shows a .003 mf buffer capacitor, NOT a .005mf, as there is in the Code 121. This is a change they don't list on the page about the 122 in the 121's service data. Also, does anyone have the service data for the code 122, or does it not exist because they are so similar?

Thanks,

Dave

This set is also missing the tape with the lettering on it that goes on a tiny drum that turns as the tone control is turned. I think this is one of the sets that has the "Mellow" tone setting. The drum is fine, and it turns. Just the lettering is missing. Is there an easy way to put the tiny letters back on? Thanks again. Dave

Hello Again All,
The word on that tone drum is "MELLO". I do have a code 121 set lying around, so that's how I know. But I might want to restore that one to. So I don't want to take that one out. Maybe I can print something on my laser printer on an overhead projection transparency that would work.

I have the early Sams. The C-4608 is 18-24 .. There is a ( revised ) in 42-19 .. This one does show the buffer capacitor as being .003 .. If you need a copy of the revised version. I can make one and send it to you.
