Just a thanks to all who responded to my cry for help on a dead IFoscillator transformer.

Yesterday I pulled it out the transformer and spent half a day trying to find the open on both windings. Finally was able to locate the breaks and reconnected. This morning I reinstalled the transformer and I have an operating oscillator!!!

Gary, that is great luck that You were able to find and patch rather than have to rewind, I am facing an ugly rewind on an Emerson dm 331 that was tampered with before I got the set and am a bit hesitant as I dont know if the previous work was correct so I would not know for sure the turns and the direction.
