Potentially you could get 100 watts out of a 4 tube final monoblock if your plate voltages are the design maximum value, but without a schematic, is it designed as a simple class A1, class AB1, or class AB2? Is it set up as triode connected? or Pentode connected? Also which generation of 6L6 are you using? The amp may be designed for a later designed 5881, which has higher plate ratings than a number of the 6L6 versions.
If this happens to be a stereo amplifier that has 4 6L6's (2 each channel), 50 watts is optimistic but attainable, and technically it would be 100 watts output, but in a manner that is accurately described as 50 + 50 watts= 100 watts. This happens to be one of the sales tricks that are still employed by the big box audio retailers, and even the specialty houses. If it is not available at www.samswebsite.com you may have to trace out what you have and compare it to basic schematic designs. This is not as hard as it sounds as many of those amps are just a variation on a theme.
: Hi, Does anyone have a schematic for a Stromberg Carlson AU-36? I read a message posted here that said it was a 50Watt amp, but shouldn't it be 100Watts since it has 4 6L6's....? Thanks

: Thanks dude, actually i just bought this thing off ebay and im waiting for it arrive(its mono). I'm sure i will end up drawing my own schematic which isn't very hard since there probably isn't too many parts.... my goal is to turn it into a guitar amp, either a marshall or dual rectifier copy.... do you know how well consumer transformers hold up when being used for really loud guitar purposes.... thanks a lot.
: : Hi,
: : Welcome to the confusing world of nomenclature- where salesmen and designers part ways.
