You guys must be more techies than I. I just bought an ITT Schaub Lorenz from the 70s, quite round. The problem is that I have just a simple horizontal line in the middle of the screen :(
What should I check ? Any good web site describing this common problem ? Thanks in advance !

Hi Nico

Check the Vertical Oscillator and Vertical Output circuits when there is only a horizontal line. Don't keep the line bright as this will burn the screen.

Hi,
Also remember to check the position of the "Service" switch. These sometimes get switched to the "service" position, and forgotten about. This is especially true if the set was stored around curious children.
