It should be new enough for Phillips to have stamped a date of production on the back of the set, or inside the back cover. Otherwise the picture tube often has a production year stamped onto the paper tag that should still be there.

www.samswebsite.com "might" have a schematic, and when it was published will give a clue to approximate year of production.

Also check the UHF tuner. After about 1991 ( I forget the exact year), the UHF channels alloted to channel 71 through channel 83 were shifted to mobile wireless communications.
