Hi Again, the problem I'm haveing with this may be no problem but thought I would just throw it out there. All of my stations come in between 0 and 50 on the AK-40 and they are all there. I get nothing from 50 to 100. 50 on the AK is 720 here and the stations go higher going towards 0 but they are all there and they pickup great. Is this mormal or is there an adjustment. Do all tuners track together, close at the same place on the dial? For adjustment each tuner can be rotated on their shaft by losing set screws.

Do plates short as you tune lower, toward 100?

No actually trimmer adjustment on these AK's.

Hi Norm, yep they all move together and appear to be in the proper postions. We don't have anything local under 720 AM but it just seems to be high on the dial of this AK. When the plates are moved to maximum they are all proper. Thanks George T

Your tuner is ok. Plates on these AK tuners are linear. Lower portion of the band covers a large section of 0-100 dial. Upper stations are fairly crowded. Modern tuners aren't linear so they spread out the upper portion of the band.
