Motorola tube / transistor radio

HELP . Just purchesed a Motorola B 1000 M radio . Not a 100 . Can find info on them . There is 1 on You Tube a w model . Weighs about 40 lbs. 2 fold out dual speakers and a bass one in main cabinet . Nice wood and brass accents . ?? Stereophonic ?? Masterpiece Portable ?? . I neend help . Restored 2 Zenith 8G005's and it's time for something new . ANY HELP would be greatly appreciated . THANKS

Your radio is actually under " Quasar " Sams 693-9 It is probably something like this one.

Yep . Your right . Also read info like Stereophonic , Masterpiece Portable. Even looked up patent # but shows a unit with slide out type speakers for a phonograph . Serial # is 2276 . Wonder how many units were produced . THANKS

Looked a Craig list posting you provided . Mine has a plain top end and base of speakers are flat but it does have a brass latching mechanisim . Working with cleaning and bulb issues . ( $100.00 ) THANKS
