Line to Ground Safety Caps

I'm recapping a 1940 Zenith 8S463. I've reached the point of replacing the old single mica line to ground capacitor with a Y2 safety cap. My question is: from some of the material that I have read about safety caps, is it okay to go ahead and add another Y2 cap on the other side of the power, or is this just going to add interference to the radio? Everything I have read just talks about the power side of the house, not the signal processing side. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ken

P.S. Here's the link to the schematic: http://www.nostalgiaair.org/PagesByModel/455/M0025455.pdf

Notice one side of the AC is already at ground. No use to put a Y-Cap there. But you should use an X-Cap instead.

I don't believe that one side of the line is connected to chassis ground, if you zoom in on the schmatic it looks like the lower capacitor lead just crosses over the ac line. This is a transformer set and normally the chassis is not connected to the AC line. Maybe someone has a clearer copy of the schmatic.
