Question about reading capacitor values

Hello!! I was wondering if a 0.05 nano F is the same value as a 50 pico F. Is this how to convert from nano to pico move the decimal point 3 places to the right?
Any help I would be very greatful!!!

That is correct. Nanofarad units aren't much used in the U.S. - I think more in Europe.

Here's a handy conversion chart. Don't know if this will post as a readable image or not but I'll give it a try. You can right click on it and then "SAVE AS" to keep your own copy.
