You can determine the first number by quantity of tubes in your radio. 9S232 has a robot dial. Check schematics here on nostalgiaair.

: I just picked up a neat chairside Zenith with the robot dial but I can't read the Model number. It looks like it may be 8 or 9, followed by a character I can't read, followed by 232. Does anyone know what I have and how I can find the right schematic. I would also appreciate it if anyone could tell me approximate value. This appears to be a very nice set. Thanks, Joe

Hi Norm,
Once again thanks for your help. I think it may be a 9S232 but the catalog lists the 9S232 as the "Walton" tombstone model valued at $1000 and this is a chairside. Perhaps its the same radio but in a different case..I can't find it in any catalog so I can't determine its value either...any idea on value? Joe
PS. there is also a 9S232AT..maybe the AT is the chairside?
