Truetone D-930 Dial Cable Routing

Can someone please help me with dial cable routing on a Truetone D-930? Please drop me a diagram on my e-mail or point me to a picture on a Web Site. I have just spent two hours trying different techniques to no avail! Thanks.

At long last, by trial and error, I figured it out. The dial works backwards, with the low frequency stations on the right!

Hi,
Without a diagram, it is difficult to explain how to string the dial in a general sense, but what you did on this one applies as a general procedure for others too. The next radio stringing project will be easier.

To correct for the backwards effect, keep everything the same, except where you went clockwise around the tuning wheel, make that counter clockwise, and what you strung counter-clockwise, you should string clockwise. Note- this applies only to the tuning wheel on the tuning condensor. Everything else should remain as you currently have it. You will need to rotate the tuning wheel to get the wheel/condensor in the correct position in relation everything else.
