Greetings to everyone,
I have a Zenith 8S-661 with tone controls on one side and station controls on the other side of the dial.
Perhaps a dumb question, but regarding the tone controls are they at neutral position all the way in or all the way out? Do you choose a tone by pushing control(s)in or out. The station controls operate when one is pushed in.
I am not to sure of the tone controls, I don’t want to blow anything. If anyone has one please let me know of the tone controls.

Tone control button pushed in is activated. You can't hurt anything with any combination in or out. It's mostly just a matter of personal preference for tone.

The original owner told me the opposite, so I was confused. It's not a button, it's more like a lever.
I could not see the lever's/buttons working the opposite way either.
