Question about Bulova Model 100

Hi!! I hope all had a great Christmas and will have A great New Year!!!!!
I am currently working on a Bulova Model 100. I have the Howard Sams Schematic for this radio. The chassis components such as resistors and capacitors I have ID'ed. The one part that this schematic does not show is a speaker switch on the back of the chassis along with an RCA type plug. This radio does work before I began to study the chassis in prep for a recap job.
The speaker leads(the primary side)which are color coded yellow and black connect to the three terminal switch center terminal and right end terminal, the other terminal connects to the center of the RCA jack.
I do not see any connection to the 50C5 output tube, yet this raio plays. Any ideas how this is working????

Thank you all for any feedback!! Have a great day!!!

Daniel M.

The switch and RCA plug may have been added by someone wanting an external switchable speaker. The audio output transformer Primary side, one lead connects to the plate of the 50C5. The other primary wire goes to the power supply. It's the secondary side that's being switched from the internal speaker, to the RCA plug for an external speaker.

Dear Warren,
You are completely correct, after looking more closely at the circuit, this is exactly what they have done. I thank you for your help!!!
