Off topic, but need help!

I bought a telephone on E-bay, one with an amplifier built into the handset, and a volume control built in. It worked fine when I tested it, but after installing it in my shop, it quit. After looking around, I finally determined that the transducer (receiver) was open. I tried a regular G-type element, but the output is very low. This thing looks exactly like the receiver in a handset, except it doesn't bave a varistor on the back, and the number on the case is 33 instead of the usual U(x).
Does anybody know where I might buy one of these on the internet? I will be sending E-mails to all of the oddball parts places I know of, but any help will be appreciated, believe me. Thirty five years of working at airports has left me with the need of a LOUD telephone.
Tnx, Lewis

Try a small speaker. That's what is in a lot of electronic telephone handsets these days.
