AK Model 84 Bad xfrms

I have been working on an Atwater Kent Model 84 and have found to my huge disappointment that both the output transformer and the field coil are both open. Not being brave enough to start unraveling these what are my options. I can't imagine it is too easy to come across replacements for these. Am I S.O.L?

Is this your schematic? http://www.nostalgiaair.org/PagesByModel/491/M0001491.pdf

If so, just stick any junk speaker xfmr in it - it'll probably be fine, at least to start with. For the speaker coil, just slap in a power resistor of the same resistance (2K) - maybe a little more hum, but it will get you going. But if the speaker field is open, you'll need to substitute a permanent magnent speaker.

I have successfully repaired the field coil. I now need to replace the output transformer. Does anyone have any suggestions for a suitable replacement?
