I just recieved some brass replacement pulleys for my AK 32 but I need to know a few things. First, how is each pulley mounted on the variable capacitor shafts. 2nd, how are 3 belts placed on the pulleys? I can see where there would be 2 belts but not a third.

I believe your 32 has 4 tuners. The main one with the knob turns all the rest in sequence. That would take 3 bands (belts). The main pulley with the knob turns one, then that one turns the next, that one turn another one.

Thanks for the link Warren but it really doesn't do me any good. What I'm looking for is how the pulleys are actually attached to each shaft, set screws in or out, and how in the hell 3 bands attach to them when i can only visualize 2 bands.

Found the information. Seems I had it all along in the reprint of the 1928 AK service manual which a memeber of the ARF so kindly pointed out to me.
