Hello,

I need to test the three transformers on a 1927 Neutrowound. Can someone please advise me how to do so? Thanks for your help! Bill

I restored my 1926 Neutrowound about 25 years ago. As I recall the primary of all three transformers were open. From memory (which may not be perfect to say the least) as you are facing the radio the primary of each transformer are the terminals to the left and the secondary to the right.

You can check the for continuity between the two terminals on the left. Then test the two terminals on the right for continuity. The final test, if you have continuity on both left and right is to make sure there is no continuity between the left terminals and the right terminals.

If that doesn't match yours let me know. I will dig mine out and confirm what needs to be done.

2nd that information Richard has given. The signal path circuitry does flow from left to right. fairly typical of all early radios.
