Philco 48-1286

Does anyone have a clean schematic for this model. I have the Riders from the site - all good information - but the schematic is really hard to read.

I am restoring one for a friend. I pulled the chassis and left the cabinet at her house. Now I am thinking that is a mistake since I see a transformer and some pretty high voltage going out to towards the spk. in the audio circuit.

I guess I am going to have to go back and at least pull the spk to complete this rebuild and hear the results. If anyone has any experience with these units I'd be glad for advice. My first Philco.

Thanks!

George,
I do not have a schematic and i see what you mean about needing a better one.
I went to the model and read in the first Troubleshooting section (Do not turn power on without the speaker hooked or it could cause damage to the set) just a heads up for you.

George,

I've emailed to you what are (I hope) sharper images than what you already have. Some of those original paper Riders pages for your 48-1286 have very small text on them.

Sir George. . . . .

Now, aren't you the party of the first part . . .twice removed . . . that was always wanting a pictorial representation of the wiring of a sets chassis, in preference to its schematic proper ?

On the Red Riders of this set, it is a good as I see, detail wise, as well as on the associated parts list being provided.
