NOS or used tubes?

At radio flea-markets, used ones are regularly available for less that $10 each (with good filament). If weak, they can be rejuvenated.

:Check out specific websites, clubs, etc. I belong to the Atwater Kent restoration site. I haven't been there since I started collecting AA5's, but that might be a good place to start. Look for a site like Radio Daze with lots of links.
:Good luck,

:finaly recived the [5] 01Atubes from radio era. they are all globe type tubes. two have the ceramic base. all test great but three only work in an operating atwater kent 35 battery radio. this is the end of my collecting. ran out of space in my tiny appartment.
