Hi all I bought a box that was full of tubes at an auction....I was picking through box and came across many 2A3 tubes...I see from this site they are power rectifiers...What radios or equipment used them and whats their worth? Would liek ot ke to sell at a swap meet and wana get an idea of value and radio/equipment they would go in...THANKS

Usually, on this FORUM, folks offer these tubes for free to the users, not for a price. They mail them for free to users who need them. Also schematics and such for support. You hit me hard as a non Forum user.

2A3 is a Power Triode. Not A Rectifier. It's worth is only to someone that may want one. Why not pass them along to another hobbyist for a couple of bucks. There is always " Worth " in that.

2A3 tubes are indeed very valuable if they are in good condition. You can get an idea by looking at Ebay.

After looking at those of you who tried to scam me into giving this tube away....jerks...those who offered good advice thank you...I look at "electron Tube Enterprises catalog and called...tube is worth about 60 bucks each...Geez all this ..I was wondering what it was used for ..Thanks to those wh offered "usefulhelp"
