Refer to the Crosley speaker thread : Not at all times . . . in the case of that top illustration of the bathtub shown , that unit has floating units inside and the top left terminal is their common. That terminal then needs to be connected to ground via the short buss wire shown with that grounding terminal lug on its end . In this case it would be swung down to connect at the left mounting lug of the bathtub to get grounded. |

:Just read a rhread from EDD that i think means all Bathtub Caps use the metal casing as the ground lead connection for the capacitors. If this is the case, it has answered several questions about replacing a Bathtub with standard caps.
