::::Yeah, I already know that I could take a single coil antenna from another radio and wind a new loop around it.
::::However, if I can find the exact replacement I'd rather pay for it.
::::Plus, trying to calculate the wire size, amount of turns for greatest efficiency, best way to mount for coupling, etc.
::::It's a nice radio and when shined up will look great.

::::Anybody got one lying around?

:Terry,
:I am working on this same radio, this is the one that i had questions about how the antenna was wired to the radio. Mine is not the original according to the schematic.
:If you will explain to me how you post pics on the Forum i can send a pic of it to you along with the number of wire loops there are.
:I am done with the radio except for waiting for the book and help to perform alignment.

The image has to be posted somewhere on the internet. I use myspace, some people use photobucket.
Use the Less than symbol <
then type in img
leave a space
then type in src=
If using Firefox open the photo and right click on it. click on "copy image location"
Reduce to the task bar in case you need it again.
Go to edit and click paste
Then use the greater than symbol >
If using IE , then instead of "copy image location" you need to right click and highlight the URL, then "copy" and paste.
Did you get that?
It might take a couple of tries-

It's easy, see?
