Hello Again, This is the continuing "saga" of the weird FM tuning problem in the Panasonic RC7754 clock radio. I was looking at the slug in the Oscillator coil and noticed it was out so far that the ferrite on the sides could be seen. So I adjusted it and voila, like "magic", FM was working again. Now I have to adjust the two controls so that they correspond to the numbers on the dial. That's the tricky part. So I "Think" I solved this mysterious problem. I was right, the oscillator was DEAD because it was off frequency. Now it's working and I'm done puzzling over it.

Good eye on that one.
Just another example of a radio that's been "diddled-to-death" by a previous "wanna be" repair person.

Bill, No I didn't. The upper end of the band is only about 102 and another station can be heard at the same time. I have no idea what to do. The band starts at about 90, although I can adjust it so I can hear 88.3, but after about 90, the band spreads way way way out. I either have this or nothing. I don't know what's wrong or how to adjust it.
If anyone knows, please help.
Thanks,
Dave :Glad to see you got it, Dave. : :Best Regards, : :Bill :
