Has anyone a schematic for, or link to an RF wobbulator plse? Needs to cover c. 440 - 470 and preferably also 550 - 1600.

Seems like two conflicting requirements. For the 440-470 you might do better to repair a commercial sweeper. I've been happy with my flea-market Texscan VS-50, 0 - 500 mHz. Broadcast-band sweepers are not common, and I have no experience there. Possibly a function generator with FM capability, such as the H-P 3312A, would do something useful.
