IG-102 generator probe?
9/18/2010 6:12:12 PMMitch
Hello all,
Just got the RF generator today. Came without any test probes. Has the BNC connectors on the front. Is there anything special dbout the test probes or can i use the probe that i use with my signal generator/or my "O" scope?

:The leads should be shielded. Are both connectors BNC?

Does your panel look like this, (except for the connectors of course)?

Wow! This thread isn't accepting photos for some reason.
I'll try once more.

Terry,
Both connectors are BNC, and yes my panel is identical to the photo. My "O" scope and siginal generator probes are shielded.

I've used regular 'scope probes for similar applications.

Mitch's photo shows the old Amphenol mic connectors. Somebody must have changed Terry's generator to BNC connectors. That's what I have done for my test equipment with the Amphenol connectors - probes for them are scarce.

:I have an original IG-102 that has the same connectors as Terry's photo.
