Hi,

Someone know what is the type # for this lamp? I have to replace it... This lamp is bayonette not screw model.

Thanks.

Hi

How large is the base? If it's like a #47 lamp use NE-51. NE-49 has the same size base but is taller. Larger base with two contacts on the bottom NE-16, NE-48 or a 991 tube will work. A 991 is just a neon lamp with tightly controled operating voltage, used as reference.

For now, I know I have a fuse lamp #81 and a pilot lamp #47. The neon lamp look like the #81 but has 2 contacts on the bottom (there is 2 wires under the socket, not like #81 that has 1 wire on the side and 1 under).

The only info I have is: "the neon lamp is a G.E. 1/4 watt, 105-125 volts, candelabra base".

What mean candelabra?
Are the model numbers you wrote on your reply are still good replacement?

Thank you!

Sir J-F . . . . . .

Looks like you are in the market for an old discontinuated-ed Ne 48 lamp, if using that medium candelabra double button pin base.

Was your old one missing, bwoke, or just won't fire ?

In the newer replacement series, mostly all made by furriners, they are using a clear lucite shell instead of the glass, and it is renumbered as being a B9A.

Unless, you can find some New Old Stock units of the NE48.

For an even MORE positive confirmation of that unit . . . here is its . . . .

Well, the lamp is broken and was stuck in socket. Today I managed to detach it from socket and I saw it was a RCA991...

Will look for that type or maybe NE-48...
