i have the following TWO chevy(delco) radios that i need information about.

i first off need the service manual(s) and to also know if they are 6v or 12v.

the first is a model: 985264 ALL TRANSISTOR. i saw stuff on the forum here but not for the full SS radio. this unit is from 1962.

the other one is a hybrid unit from a 1961 bel aire
the model of that radio is: 988413 straight line tuner

where can i find the schematics for these. id like to test them because everything seems ok to see if they fire up as is(on a variac) but theyd most likely need caps replaced.

thanks

Both car radios are 12 volt negative ground. Last of the 6 volt chevy radios was 1953. Use just a 12 volt sealed battery of 12 amp should do. Don't use an AC variac. If you plan to re-cap the sets. The values are on the caps.

Both model numbers are listed here.
