1. This radio has a 6N6G power triode. I have not tested it yet but where can I get a replacement if I need to replace it? Is is hard to find?
2. Also there is cap, C32, that is mounted inside a metal box (~1/2 X 1/2 X 1.5 Inches) soldered to the side of the chassis. It is a 1000V .012uf. Can a 630v of same value replace that? Or where can I get a replacement?
3. Do Filter caps C17 and C36 negative side connect to chassis ground? While C33 to the center tap of the TX?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

The 6N6G is common and readily available from many tube suppliers..some listed:
vacuumtubesinc.com ; NOS-$28.50, used-$14
findatube.com ; NOS-$12, used-$7
I have used vacuumtubesinc many times with no problems.
Have not bought from findatube yet but his prices seem to be the least expensive around.

A common .01 uf at 630V will be fine. I would install a fuse after the power switch and a polarized plug.. make sure you switch the hot side of the A.C. for safety.

Yes, correct. A good source of caps. is justradios.com in Canada. He is reliable and easy to deal with. John
A comment about 6N6G. This tube has a built in resisor that can't be tested. Over time it can increase in value and allow the tube to draw a lot of current.
Even though way different, looking at a tube diagram, it can be replaced by 6F6, 6V6 etc. Just grid bias needs to be added. This can be done by inserting a 470 ohm @ 1 watt or greater resistor in series with wire going to pin #8. Bypass the resistor with 25 mf @ 25 volt electrolytic cap.
